When I am not at school, you'll find me:
At home with my husband, daughter, and dogs. I like to bake, read, and cross stitch.

Words of advice for IB students:
Come in ready to work and be challenged. For many students, they will have their first experience with a class that does not come easily to them.

Words of advice for parents of IB students:
Help your students learn to take responsibility for themselves by keeping them accountable. If they are having a problem, encourage them to talk to the teacher and advocate for themselves as their first step.

If I wasn't a teacher I would be.....
Either helping write algorithms for computer programs or doing something to help manage and streamline people.

My students would be surprised to know....
I grew up in Cobb County.
